One of the (few) things I miss about the Midwest is the sky-- in particular, the storm clouds. Since there's not much drama going on in the landscape, it all happens in the wide-open sky. ReplyDeleteEvery evening just before going to sleep I open the blinds so that I can watch the sky. In the distant past I lived in a house up on top of a hill and used to always say that somehow that home was so full of sky even though it was in a built up area somehow the sky seemed bigger there.
